In this episode Dr. Amy Banter will discuss why food choices matter and the power we have with what we put on our fork and what we put in our bodies. A "Nutrition 101" conversation between Eric and Dr. Banter will cover the role food plays in our body to include: macronutrients, micronutrients, phytonutrients, and fiber. They will share their philosophy on healthy eating including plant-rich whole foods, eating a rainbow of colors, avoiding processed food, avoiding added sugar, and eating optimal carbs, fats, and proteins.
